Method 1: Browse the Database
Click on the Video Game / DVD tab at top the right of any page.
Use the left menu to select the category your item is in (i.e. Xbox)
After selecting a category a list of items available in that category will appear on the right. This listing is called the Global Item Listing (GIL). Sub-categories will appear in the left menu so that you can further refine this list. (i.e. Xbox>Games>Action)
The more you refine your search using the left menu the easier it will be to find the game you want in the list.
Method 2: Search
Find the search bar which is located in the top left of the page directly under the Nintari.net logo.
Use the drop-down menu to select the category you wish to search in (i.e. "in Video Games", "in DVDs")
Now select the search text box and type the name of the item you are searching for.
Click "GO" or hit "Enter" on your keyboard to search.
Your results will appear as a list on the right side of the page. This listing is called the Global Item Listing(GIL).
The more specific your search terms the more accurate your results will appear.
After finding the item you want, in the Global Item Listing (GIL), click on it to select it.
This will take you to the User Item Listing (UIL) page, which provides details about the item you selected, displays who has it for sale, and who wants it. Select the item you want by clicking on "Make an offer", or "view", for that particular item (Note: If the item has a price listed it will say "Buy" instead of "Make an offer")
Now you are viewing the details of the offer (i.e. the user who made the
offer, shipping prices, payment methods, item details, etc.).
At this point there are two ways to make an offer depending on how the other user has
setup the item.
Method 1: Direct Cash Offer
If you do not wish to go through all the steps of setting up a trade, and would rather just make a direct cash offer, you can do this very quickly. Simply scroll to the bottom of the User Item Listing page and enter a cash amount into the textbox provided
Once satisfied with the amount entered click the "Make an Offer" button to the right of the text box.
Now you are taken to the review offer page which allows you to double check the terms of this offer before sending it off. Click the "Send Offer" button to send it to the other user.
Method 2: Setting up a trade
Many people may not wish to simply enter a cash amount. They may wish to offer a trade, or perhaps they may even want to combine an item plus some cash in their offer. If you click one of the two "Make an Offer" buttons, without entering a direct cash amount, you will be taken to the Trade Offer Setup page.
The trade offer setup page gives you the power to do everything from offering straight cash, to setting up complicated multi-item offers. This is explained further in the How to trade section.
Once you are satisfied with your offer go to step 3 and click "done".
Now you are taken to the review offer page which allows you to double check the terms of this offer before sending it off. Click the "Send Offer" button to send it to the other user.
After sending an offer you must wait for the other user to review the offer and respond. To track your offers go to your My Account page.

Method 1: Direct sell
If you find a user that wants an item you are selling (i.e. the item is on someone's "want list"), you can offer to sell it directly to them. Locate the item on their want list and click "view".
At this point there are several courses of action depending on the conditions specified by the other user. The following scenarios are possible:
If the user has not specified any price or terms then you can click "Make an Offer" and specify the terms of sale.
If the user specified a price but left it negotiable, then you can either click "sell" to accept their price and sell it to them, or click "Make an Offer" to setup your own terms of sale.
If the user specified a price and made it non-negotiable then you only have the option to click "sell" and accept their offer.
In all three cases you will be asked to review your offer before sending it to the other user. After reviewing it click "Send Offer".
After sending an offer you must wait for the other user to review the offer and respond. To track your offers go to you're My Account page.
Method 2: Post for sale
The default action when adding an Item to your Have list is to post it for sale. (For more details refer to How to Add an Item I have)
To sell an item in your Have that isn't currently for sale check the box to the left of the item, scroll to the bottom of the list, and click save changes. This will make the item Active which means it is for sale. (Note: Modifying you items will allow you to customize the sale. Refer to How to Modify My Items)

How to Trade
When buying or selling an item it is possible to send or receive an offer which involves: a cash offering, a straight trade, or a more complicated offer involving a combination of cash and items. This section will describe how the Nintari.net Trade Engine works, so that you can take full advantage of all the features available.
To trade an item you must first add it to your Have's list.
Next you must find the item you want, and choose which user you would like to send a trade offer to by clicking on "view", or "Make an Offer", next to the item.
Now you should be viewing the details of the offer. If the other person has made the item negotiable there will be a "Make an Offer" link part way down the page. Click on it.
You are brought to the trade offer setup page (This is where the magic happens). This page allows you to set up an offer in any number of ways, as described above. The page is broken down as follows:
The "Stuff I'm Getting" box on the left will list all the stuff you wish to receive from the other user. Once you have added something to this box you can quickly remove it by clicking the "remove" link to the right of the listed item. (You should see the item you chose to make an offer on in this box)
The "Stuff I'm Sending" box on the right will list all the stuff you intend to send in return for the stuff you are getting. Removing an item you have added works the same in this box.
Below the two boxes there is a 3 step breakdown of the process. After completing each step, click "Next" under the step. On Step 3 click "Done" to complete the trade setup.
Step 1 allows you to add any items you want. You can do this by searching through the other user' Have list, which appears at the bottom of the page. Click the "Add" link next to the item you wish to add.
Step 2 allows you to add a cash amount if you choose to offer or request cash. Type the cash amount in the box provided. To add the cash amount to the trade click one of the two "Add" links, depending on which side of the offer you want it to appear.
Step 3 is much like Step 1 except that now you are choosing what items you wish to send. Your Have List appears at the bottom of the page organized in the same manner as Step 1.
Note: There is an extra called "Want Matches" that appears at the bottom of the page in Step 1 and Step 3. In Step 1 this tab matches your wants with the other users' Have list. In Step 3 this tab matches the other ursers' wants with items in your Have list.
Once you have setup the trade to your satisfaction, and you have clicked "Done" in Step 3, you will be brought to the "Review Offer" page. If everything appears to be correct hit "Send Offer".
After sending an offer you must wait for the other user to review the offer and respond. To track your offers go to you're My Account page.
