Acclaim Sports is back with the third installment of their ALL-STAR BASEBALL franchise. ALL-STAR BASEBALL 2001 marks the return of the great features that gamers have come to expect. All 30 MLB teams and over 700 players are joined by a special Hall of Fame team decked in authentic Cooperstown uniforms and led by legends Reggie Jackson and Nolan Ryan. Five different modes provide for extensive gameplay options: play against a friend or the computer in Exhibition mode, go head-to-head with the big swingers in a Home Run Derby, work on pulling the fastball in Batting Practice, or take over a team for a full year in Season mode. You can also manage a team for the season and make multi-player trades while you create, sign, and release players on your way to the World Series. As in the rest of the series, Yankees announcers Michael Kay and John Sterling provide the play-by-play.
