In 18 WHEELER: American Pro Trucker, your goal is to get your goods to their destination as quickly as possible. You start by choosing a driver and some cargo, and then hit the road, heading from New York to San Francisco. Along the way you can earn some extra time by hit special vans in each stage. Just be careful not to hit other obstacles and damage your load. Now you can live on the open road with 18 WHEELER: American Pro Trucker.

In 18 WHEELER: American Pro Trucker, you are a rookie driver who must deliver a load cross-country as quickly as possible. You can select from five different drivers, each with a unique truck. After selecting your driver, you must choose the cargo, which affects several aspects of the driving experience. You can choose a simple load, but the tougher ones have the potential to earn more money. Once you’ve got your driver, truck, and cargo, it’s time to race from New York to San Francisco. During the drive, you can hit special vans that reward you with extra time, but you need to keep from hitting other obstacles and damaging your cargo. Your other concern is a rival driver who is constantly insulting you through your CB. If you make it through a stage, you get an opportunity to earn bonus items by parking your truck in a specified area within a certain time limit.
