You are the eager young knight Erik Valdemar, who finds himself involved in a desperate search for five missing Dragon Blades. In order to save the kingdom and find the magical swords you'll partake in dangerous quests, learn stunning spells, explore dark dungeons, and fight vicious orcs, screeching harpies, rotting mummies, and much more.

Step into a world of fantastic, sword-swinging adventure in LEGEND OF THE BLADE MASTERS for the Dreamcast. Ripcord Games and Ronin Entertainment have created a classic role-playing fantasy story that allows you to roam through it freely in your own fashion. You play as the young knight Erik Valdemar. Along with your party of fellow explorers like Knight Macon, Lucan the Orc, and the mysterious wizard August, you fight and travel across the vast lands of Malea in an attempt to find the five magical Dragon Blades and stop the malicious mage Aberhart from destroying the kingdom. In real-time 3D, third-person perspective battles, you'll take command of your warriors and issue strategic orders. Use powerful spells and devastating special attacks as you wage war against the evil mage's forces of harpies, mummies, yeti, and more. Nonlinear quests are the order of the day, and it's up to you to investigate 40 varied levels in the manner you see fit. You’ll have to defeat the five twisted guardians (like the dark elf Night Ravine) as you hack and slash your way to saving Malea in LEGEND OF THE BLADE MASTERS.
